Cameron Williams DipLCM & BA (Hons)

Owner/Principal & Drama Teacher

Cameron is the owner and principal of Creative Avenues Performing Arts.

Prior to opening Creative Avenues, Cameron trained as a stage and screen performer for over 10 years, achieving multiple qualifications, one of which is a Diploma in Musical Theatre Performance from the ‘London College of Music’. During this time, Cameron also gained masses of experience as a musical theatre performer in various productions and also as a solo vocalist on stages all over the country.

After many years of performing professionally, a lifestyle working behind the scenes peaked Cameron’s interest, so he worked his way up to directing theatre productions and teaching performing arts at theatre schools in various parts of the UK. This then led him on to study and receive a TV & Radio Production BA (Hons) degree at the University of Salford, which then resulted in a 10 year history working in TV, producing various productions for channels such as BBC, ITV, Netflix, Channel 4, Channel 5 & MTV.

As Cameron has always been enthusiastic about developing young talent, he then decided that the right move for him was to set up Creative Avenues Performing Arts. Doing this means that he can give all those enrolled an opportunity to receive the best training and development needed to thrive in the creative arts industry and also allow them to gain important life skills. He also wants to give the same experiences he has had to the next generation of performers and behind the scenes enthusiasts!
